Joëlle Storet is a Belgian-born Congolese artist in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She has exhibited several works in Fayetteville, Bentonville, Vienna and Berlin. She is also the current Gallery Manager of Art Ventures NWA.
The goal for this project was a create a logo, printed collateral, and a website for Joëlle that depicts her as a Leo, a woman of strength, and a uniting force for different cultures. Our solution for her logo was to use a lioness (the Leo symbol and a Congolese symbol of strength, unity and courage) plus an interpretation of her name written in Arabic. As for Joëlle’s collateral and website, it was important that we make her striking artwork the main feature of the designs in a simple but bold fashion.
